Confession time… Networking has always been a bit of a struggle for me. As a business owner and writer who classes herself as an introvert, putting myself out there and meeting new people often feels daunting. It took me years to actually tell people that my job was ‘a writer’ – I just didn’t feel worthy, which didn’t make the idea of networking any easier (obviously, my confidence was low and I had a poor mindset). I even felt uncomfortable calling myself a business owner and the thought of navigating large gatherings or initiating conversations can often feel overwhelming.
